Volunteering

Volunteers Needed

  • Click here to volunteer your time, energy and talents where you feel they can be best used. We can’t do it without you!

  • We are recruiting still photographers and videographers who are willing to donate their time to help us upload photos and videos of special events and ongoing community programs to the community website. Those interested are asked to contact Baruch Rosen.
  • We are organizing a campaign to raise funds to purchase books for the library and arrangements and Pentacles for the synagogue. The fundraising team is looking for a volunteer with graphic design skills who can donate a few hours to the design of the publications. Anyone who can assist in this matter is asked to contact Robin Sirkin.
  • Translators and proofreaders fluent in Hebrew are needed to assist in the translation, proofreading and editing of Yedidia’s various publications: news, opinions, bulletins and announcements, protocols, etc. If you can help contact our weekly system Yediot Yedidia.
  • The Yedidia library needs drivers to pick up books from stores and donor houses to the synagogue or for binding and back. Frequency: a few hours, a few times a year. Contact Avital Ordan.
  • Shelves are needed for the Yedida library to help organize the library. Anyone who can read Hebrew and English is welcome to help. Frequency: two to three hours every two/three months on a weekday (depending on the number of volunteers). Contact Avital Ordan.
  • Yedidia library needs a volunteer with a background in databases to assist in the computerization of the catalog. Contact Avital Ordan
